About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business insights and strategic decision-making by transforming complex data into actionable insights. As a key member of our Business Operations team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business goals, analyze data, and build reports that provide value to stakeholders across the organization.

This role requires a proactive leader with the ability to analyze large and complex datasets from various sources to derive meaningful insights that inform business decisions. The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with leaders across the business to optimize performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the seamless execution of business initiatives. They will help identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, and build the necessary dashboards and reporting solutions to track them.

Who You Are
You are motivated by and hyper-focused on diving into complex datasets, driving efficiency, data integration, automation, and owning the buildout of key metrics and dashboards across the company. You are the central point of contact for owning our data from Executive KPIs through department-level metrics that drive our key decisions and strategy. You have strong attention to detail and are experienced in using tools like Sigma Computing and other reporting tools to support business stakeholders with self-service analytics. You possess an ownership mentality, ensuring that initiatives are seen through to successful completion. You are skilled in the technical aspect of data and integrations, and also possess strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Planning and Tactical Execution:
  • Serve as a key member of the Business Operations team, owning our complex data, and turning it into actionable insights and recommendations across all departments
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Business Operations and leadership team to provide data modeling, data transformation, and best practices for data management
  • Lead the charge in monitoring progress, and adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving company needs
Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Support:
  • Forge strong relationships with department leaders, providing them with the data analytics support needed to achieve our strategic goals
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and customer service, to ensure operational alignment
  • Help lead a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging data to inform decision-making and strategic adjustments
Performance Metrics and Accountability:
  • Owns, organizes, and maintains company-wide data assets, including enterprise data repository
  • Prioritize and develop dashboards for department heads and senior leadership to support execution goals
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for operational effectiveness, ensuring that all departments are accountable and contributing to the company’s success

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role
  • Analytics background or previous role owning dashboards/centralized organizational metrics
  • Proven experience in collaborating with leadership teams, with a demonstrated ability to align and enhance cross-departmental functions and processes
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools, such as Sigma Computing, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI, and the ability to create intuitive, impactful dashboards
  • Expertise in SQL for querying large datasets in cloud-based data warehouses, particularly Snowflake
  • Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages for statistical analysis and data manipulation
  • Understanding of A/B testing, cohort analysis, or other advanced analytical methodologies
  • Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) to model and transform raw data into clean, accurate datasets for analysis
  • Proficiency with Fivetran or other ELT/ETL tools for automating data pipelines
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Experience in a high-growth environment, with the flexibility and creativity to adapt to and drive change
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, business, and any other relevant field experience
  • Experience in early-stage growth companies or the SaaS industry is a plus!
Expected Base Compensation: $105,000 - $130,000 USD Annually
